By the time I earned my real estate license in 2007, I had served for three years in the US Army, earned my accounting degree at NC State, and run my own store for twelve years (Cerebral Hobbies in Chapel Hill). I've learned a lot in my wandering career – the importance of customer service, the need for a creative approach in dealing with problems, and the need for patience at times to let things work themselves out. I still have to work on that last one sometimes.
